The 850 is getting an AC system overhaul. This is uncharted territory for me. Wish me luck!

Good luck!
While I understand the basics of AC systems never been able to convince myself to dig in past recharging a low system. My solutions have always been either live without air or sell the vehicle...

So far its not bad. Im totally disassembled and have everything flushed out, and am starting to reassemble. I won’ t finish tonight because I don ’t want to open the seal on the dehydrator yet - once you do that you need to vacuum the system, so I w ill hold off until tomorrow.
Most of the hassle is in all t he other stuff one must do to get at the AC components. But I’m proud that I manage d to do it without draining and dropping the radiator!
